On 9 September 2026, NERSA partnered with the Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDT) Mpumalanga to host a Customer Education workshop in Mpumalanga. The workshop aimed to educate consumers and stakeholders on NERSA’s mandate, as well as electricity-related consumer regarding their rights and responsibilities. Other stakeholders who participated in the workshop included the National Consumer Commission (NCC) and the National Credit Regulator (NCR).
